Our office uses the Empress® restorations system to design and create custom restorations for your smile. Empress restorations is a world leader in dental ceramics, and restorations created using this system are well-known for their strength, durability and aesthetics. Common restorations created using the Empress system include veneers, crowns, inlays, onlays and bridges.

Each restoration is created using a special heat-pressed glass ceramic and a unique veneer glaze. The heat-pressed glass ceramic produces compressive stress while your restoration is being completed, making it much less likely to break or crack. The veneer glaze increases the strength of the restoration by up to 50%, resulting in a natural, comfortable and durable solution for your smile.

When you receive an Empress restoration, we will begin by designing a wax model of your teeth. This model is then invested in a specially formulated material to create a sturdier mold. The wax is then melted away and softened ceramic is pressed into the mold and hardened. After the restoration is completed, it is finished with the veneer glaze and our dentist will bond it into place to complete your treatment.
